Well what do have here? Looks like Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are back from the United States where they taped an episode of the popular U.S. talk program The Oprah Winfrey Show and talked about their marriage and careers.
The happy couple was spotted in Mumbai last night on their way to celebrate Karwa Chauth, a day on which many women, and sometimes men, fast and pray for the well-being and prosperity of their partner. While the religious tradition originated in northern India, it is today respected by Hindus all over the world. To show your love and devotion for your spouse, you are not supposed to eat or drink for a whole day, thus proving that you are ready to suffer for your loved one. During the day, a lot of women apply henna to look pretty for the breaking of the fast in the evening. Karwa Chauth is most commonly celebrated with family, at temple or at home.
