It’s not always easy being one of B-town’s most glamorous ladies, just ask Kareena Kapoor! For her role in Siddharth Malhotra’s Desi remake of the 1998 Julia Roberts movie "Stepmom," the Bollywood beauty has to take down her glam factor a notch because she will be portraying an ordinary working woman, a stepmom. Kareena is currently shooting Rajkumar Hirani’s "3 Idiots" with Aamir Khan and Boman Irani, so it has been a busy few weeks for her as she has been trying to squeeze in some workshops in order to get her 'normal girl' act right.
"The last time I rehearsed for a part it was for Vishal Bhardwaj's "Omkara." However, that was a more unconventional film and role where I had to get into a milieu and character I knew nothing about. But Stepmom is urban and very contemporary. I play a very normal metro-centric working girl. It should've been easier," said Kareena.
But getting into character isn’t the only challenge the "Kurbaan" star is facing for her new role as Kajol’s step mother.
"I walk, talk and dress like an ordinary working girl. I'll be using no makeup," she revealed, adding "I'm going for a new hairstyle." Wow! Will we even be able to recognize Bebo?
