Music Review: 'All The Best'
What do you get when you put "Golmaal" director Rohit Shetty and music composer Pritam together? You get masti, masala, and some dhamaal! And that's exactly what you get from the soundtrack to "All The Best." As the title suggests, it is a film about celebration, partying and rocking out. And with composer Pritam behind the wheels, you know exactly what you are getting into.
What We Think:
All the tracks have a fun theme that put the film right up to the mark. You can hear the drums beating in the first track "Dil Kare" with Pritam's heavy rock music that we all know and love. The remix gives a high voltage start and will be great for the clubs. Expect another rock solid performance in "Haan Main Jitni Martaba," a love song with a great rocking feeling and vocals by KK. The promos for the film introduced you to the title track "All The Best," which has a funky sound that a younger crowd will appreciate. The mood of the album changes with the romantic rock solo "Kyon," which has Clinton Cerejo singing slow tunes. The album ends with Bombay Vikings' very own Neeraj Sridhar in "You Are My Love" that has a very urban and contemporary, yet simple feel to it. This ensemble piece brings the talents of Kunal Ganjawala, Rajesh, Alisha Chinoy and Megha together in a celebration track about friends.
Best Tracks:
"Dil Kare," "Haan Main Jitni Martaba," "Kyon"
Final Verdict:
The musical score of "All The Best" will make a direct impression and is guaranteed to entertain the audience as the videos appear on the screen. And Pritam composed songs like "All The Best" and "You Are My Love" with this in mind. But there is a pleasant surprise in store. "Hain Main..." and "Kyon" turned out to be two of the finest compositions by Pritam and they bring in extra value to this album
